Financing production section

• Manage the generation of income. One of the most important functions of your job and your department is to assure that income is generated.
• Ensure that all deals are properly turned over
• Review all unapproved deals with the lender and the GSM
• Spend as much time as possible at the sales tower
• Ensure there is good ongoing communication between finance and sales departments
• Update sales management regarding deal status on a daily basis
• Ensure that all finance personnel are issued and sign compliance and ethics agreements

Development and Training section

• Recruit, train and motivate your department staff so that they maintain high standards in the way they conduct all business transactions
• Establish a monthly training schedule for all finance managers. Train all salespeople on the features and benefits of your department
• Review evidence manuals regularly
• Schedule one on ones with your finance managers on a weekly basis
• Hold daily and weekly finance meetings with your department

Analysis and goals section

• Track your portfolio with your lenders
• Review sales managers finance numbers daily
• Analyze new and used department numbers separately

Leadership section

• Oversee finance management on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Remember the buck stops with you.
• Develop and retain a professional top producing finance team
• Promote by example high morals and professionalism in your department
• Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings
• Develop positive ethical working relationships with all lenders
